Unfortunately Windows Phone doesn't provide Malayalam keyboard for its user, this app is dedicated for Great Malayalees who are interested to write Malayalam in their windows phone. All things considered, ISM ML proves to be a simple software solution that helps users convert Unicode Malayalam fonts to ISM ML fonts quickly. Although, it cannot be considered the most powerful.
The first Malayalam Unicode font ‘ThoolikaUnicode’ was released on 2002 June 22nd and on 2002 October 27 the font for traditional Malayalam script ‘ThoolikaTraditionalUnicode’ was released along with keyboard driver for typing Malayalam under Microsoft windows. Following the release of Malayalam Unicode fonts, the free encyclopedia Wikipedia and Google released Malayalam versions of their websites with the help of these Malayalam Unicode fonts and now Malayalam Unicode computing is very popular.
